Decades of research show the tremendous return on investment and positive outcomes of evidence-based home visiting. In FY25, Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV)-funded programs achieved great successes, including providing over 1 million home visits, the highest annual total in MIECHV’s history, and serving 20% more rural counties. Yet the demand for home visitors continues to grow. In response, HRSA’s National Strategy for the Home Visiting Workforce is expanding and strengthening the workforce to scale up services nationwide.
