Join Our National FREE Community of Practice for Home Visiting Systems Leaders!

The Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development is launching a free Community of Practice (CoP) designed specifically for home visiting state and community systems leaders. Aligned with the National Strategy for the Home Visiting Workforce, this CoP is dedicated to supporting home visiting workforce well-being through policies, strategies, and practices at the state and community systems-level. Systems leaders who participate in the CoP will have the opportunity to come together, build knowledge, share real-life challenges, exchange ideas, and strengthen leadership and decision-making skills.

Who Should Join?
State, county, and/or community systems leaders from across the U.S., including all states, territories, Tribal communities, and across all program models and funding sources—regardless of years of experience. Please note capacity for the Community of Practice will be limited to up to 60 participants.

  • What to expect?
    Participation in the Community of Practice cohort
    Virtual meetings (60-90 min each), held every month on the 4th Wednesday, from 2–3:30PM ET
  • July 22, 2026 (1st meeting)
  • August 26, 2026 (2nd meeting)
  • September 23, 2026 (3rd meeting)
  • October 28, 2026 (4th meeting)
  • November 18, 2026 (5th meeting; bumped one week due to holiday schedule)
  • December 16, 2026 (6th meeting; bumped one week due to holiday schedule)

A deep-dive focus each year on a key topic related to workforce pathways, retention, and well-being. This year’s topic is workforce well-being.
Peer-to-peer learning, resource sharing, and national networking opportunities
